Resource Allocation paper at AIMS 2013

The paper "Fair Allocation of Multiple Resources Using a Non-monetary Allocation Mechanism" by Patrick Poullie and Burkhard Stiller was presented at AIMS 2013. The paper presents initial research ideas of Patrick Poullie for his Ph.D. thesis. The paper adresses non-monetary but fair allocation of multiple computing resources, such as CPU, RAM, and Bandwidth. As recognized by recent papers such problem becomes more and more relevant with the rise of shared computing infrastructures. The talk was well received by the audience wherefore the problem and the presented algorithm will be further researched at CSG.
