Final Demo

Instructions for Presenters

  • Demos are supposed to be live.
  • Prepare for 10-15 minutes, after each demo there will be room for questions.
  • The demo could include the following:
    • An extension of something covered in the lab
    • Protocols / tools / systems not covered in the lab
  • Time is limited: Focus on the core of the topic, do not waste time introducing basics.

Note:

  • Deadline for topic selection is 17.11.2026 23:59. The order of presentations will be decided as soon as all the topics are assigned.
  • Topic conflicts: usually a topic can be split in two parts, we will contact participants individually to solve conflicts.
  • Demo Date: 01.12.2026 14:00 - 18:00 . Time slots will be announced as soon as the topics are assigned.

Remember:

  • Active participation in the presentation sessions is part of the requirements to successfully complete this course and receive the ECTS. Thus, students have to be present during all demos.
  • If students miss the demo session, they have to record their demo and hand in a report on the demo topic. The report must cover 4 pages written in 2 column IEEE template (e.g., in LaTex: \documentclass[10pt, conference]{IEEEtran}) handed in by the day of the recap date.

Topics

To request a topic, send an email to the gruebl@ifi.uzh.ch and aidoo@ifi.uzh.ch. Topics will be assigned according to FCFS.
