Short Bio:
Gökcan Cantali joined the Communication Systems Group (CSG) in September 2024 in order to obtain his doctoral degree under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Burkhard Stiller and Dr. Gürkan Gür in a joint Ph.D. program of, respectively, University of Zürich (UZH) and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He additionally is a research assistant at ZHAW in the Information Security group (IS).
He received his BSc and MSc degrees in 2016 and 2019, respectively, from the Computer Engineering Department at Bogazici University. During his MSc studies, he worked on network security and network performance evaluation, publishing his thesis under the name "Analytical models for the scalability of dynamic group key agreement protocols and secure file sharing systems".
