FIFA World Cup 2014

For the duration of the FIFA World Cup 2014, the Swiss TV channel SRF Zwei is broadcasted over the IFI wired network. This service is offered by CSG and is available to all IFI members.

Setup and Configuration

The signal is delivered as an MPEG UDP multicast stream in the following IFI subnets:

• 130.60.155.0/24
• 130.60.156.0/24
• 130.60.157.0/24

Within these subnets the stream can be received using a multicast-enabled, MPEG-capable streaming client such as VLC, which is available for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and many other platforms.

To display the stream in VLC, there are two options:

SAP

• Display the playlist ctrl + l or View > Playlist
• In the left navigation pane select "Network Streams (SAP)"
• Wait until WM2014 appears. Double click "WM2014"

Network Stream

• Media > Open Network Stream...
• Paste this address: rtp://@233.1.2.3:1234
• Click "Play"
