Android is a free and open source operating system for mobile devices, running on the Linux kernel. It allows developers to write applications in Java. Majority of the mobile devices running android have a rich set of features, including WLAN, touchscreen, GPS, accelerometer, compass, camera and others.

The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a multi-player P2P game for android devices. Ideally the game should be able to support several players and players should be able to play it via Internet or via LAN. The game type would be open for students to devise, but they should try to maximally exploit the hardware and software features of the phone, to come up with a fresh and out of the ordinary gameplay experience. Android-running phones can be provided by the CSG group.
