DRFS: Distributed Reliable File System based on TomP2P

BA

The goal of this work is to create a P2P storage network, based on the TomP2P protocol. The network shall be adaptable and flexible to allow extension mechanisms to use this network in a cooperative manner for long term storage. In cooperative networks peers do not behave maliciously. However, peers can fail at any time. FUSE shall be used as an interface to the cooperative P2P storage network. This allows a user to mount the P2P storage network inside a local file system on Unix compatible operating systems. Thus, the users can access the P2P storage network in a transparent manner.
