Implementation of a publication system

Merlin (https://www.merlin.uzh.ch/) is the publication system that is used by all the members of the University of Zurich (UZH). The Communication Systems Group (CSG) publication system need to be updated in order to be compatible with Merlin. It is mandatory that all data included in the current CSG publication database should also exist in to the new one. The student should have strong interest in developing operational systems. Furthermore, it is mandatory that the student has enough experience in PHP, Javascript and data bases systems. By the end of this work the student will gain significant experience in new technologies, software engineering, and systems development.
