Voicemail

As a user of the IFI Voice-over-IP infrastructure, you have a personal voicemailbox available. It allows callers to leave messages in the case you are unavailable.

If your Voice-over-IP account is enabled, the voicemail service is automatically enabled and so is the e-mail notification service. If you wish to turn voicemail or the notifications off, you may do so by using the user settings panel. If you turn off the e-mail notifications, you can still listen to messages by calling the voicemail access number "50998" from any of your phones. You will then be prompted to enter your Voicemail PIN/password. Enter the PIN on your telephone keypad and confirm by pressing the #-key. The voicemail PIN is printed on the welcome e-mail/paper you have received. You may also lookup and change your PIN on the user settings panel.

After you have entered the correct PIN, the voicemail system will say how many new messages you have. Press 1 to listen to them. Pressing 7 during or after a message, deletes the message. When you are done, just hang up.

The voicemail system allows you to record your own greetings, these and other mailbox options are available by pressing 0.
