Exercises and assessment
Exercises will be released on a weekly basis. After the release usually one week is available to complete the respective sheet and submit the solution via e-mail (see below). After an additional week, the exercise will be discussed in an exercises lesson guided by a tutor. There will be ten exercises in total.
Exercises of this lecture are obligatory for all students, who want to be achieve a successful participation in the written or oral exam. In order to judge individual understandings of exercise contents, tutors may ask students at any time and unexpected to present their solution. To be possibly successful in the written or oral examination, every student must:
- submit in due time solutions for at least seven of the ten exercises
- present solutions in not less than two exercises groups/dates.
After solving an exercise students send an email with the respective solution (in PDF-format or ASCII-text) to

. Depending on their solution students will be asked in exercise lessons to present parts of it. At justified |
absence (illness or conscription/WK) students shall contact the tutor and hand in an official affirmation (attestation, march order).
