Department of Informatics - Communication Systems Group

Teaching

Teaching on Communications and Distributed Systems covers at the current stage a number of lectures, seminars, and lab courses, which are always in the process of being developed further. The current curriculum being set-up covers the basics and introduction into computer networks and distributed systems, mobile systems, multimedia protocols and systems, and a basic introduction into computer architecture, and computer organization. Additionally, seminars on Internet economics, mobile systems, and communication systems deepen the detailed knowledge of selected topics in these areas. The lab course on mobile systems completes the practical use of the respective theory. Finally, exams will complement the teaching in terms of oral TLEs (Themenübergreifende Lerneinheiten) and dedicated written exams following almost each lecture.
