Topic:
Technologies and Advances in Distributed Accounting for IP
The emphasis will be on technical and protocol accounting aspects in the given Internet as well as possible future developments of the Internet and existing technologies, such as Shibboleth. Distributed systems and protocols will be evaluated and respective development steps are to be embedded into standardized approaches..
Prerequisites:
- Excellent expertise of Internet-based communications
- Major interests in IP-based network management
- Good expertise in security mechanisms for distributed systems
- Good skills in C/C++ and Java programming, computer systems know-how, and Internet-based tools
- Very good ability to speak and write in English and at least partially in German

Distributed, Reliable, and Secure Accounting for IP Networks and Services
The
emphasis will be on technical, protocol, and economic aspects in the given
Internet as well as possible future developments of the Internet and its
services. Tussles, dynamic systems, and protocols will be evaluated and
respective development steps are to be undertaken.
Prerequisites:
- Excellent expertise of Internet-based communications
- High interest in network management
- Very good knowledge in reliability and security mechanisms for distributed systems
- Good skills in C/C++ and Java programming, computer systems know-how, and Internet-based tools
- Very good ability to speak and write in English and at least partially in German
