I am a Researcher at the University of Zürich UZH, Switzerland, within the Communi­cation Systems Group CSG of the Department of Informatics IfI, where I concluded my PhD (Summa Cum Laude) with the thesis entitled "CyberTEA: a Technical and Economic Approach for Cybersecurity Planning and Investment", presented at November 2022.

Since September 2018, I have been participating and driving work on Cybersecurity Economics within a team of multidisciplinary researchers. From the research side, I have been involved in more than 50 scientific papers and co-authored two patents. Also, I actively review scientific work and participate as technical program committee member for international conferences and magazines, especially in Computer Networks and Network Management. At UZH, I am also a Teaching Assistant for the “Mobile Com­mu­nication Systems” and "Protocols for Multimedia Communications" classes.

I hold Ph.D. in Computer Science (2023) from the University of Zurich, M.Sc. (2017) in Computer Science from the Federal Uni­ver­sity of the Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, and obtained a B.Sc. (2014) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPEL), Brazil. Additionally, I hold an MBA (2021) in Project Management from the University of São Paulo (USP).

My current research interests include Network Management, Cybersecurity, Information Visualization, Blockchain, and Economics. However, I am passionate about any innovative and disruptive project where technology plays an important role.
