CSG Present at CNSM 2021

The Communication Systems Group CSG of the University of Zurich UZH successfully ran a 3 hours tutorial entitled "Intelligent Behavioral Fingerprinting - From Theory to Practice" at the 17th International Conference on Network and Service Management (CNSM 2021), hosted virtually in Izmir, Turkey. The tutorial was presented by Alberto Huertas, Pedro Sánchez (University of Murcia), and Muriel Franco.

The tutorial provided an overview of tools and machine learning techniques toward behavioral fingerprinting and how these can optimize the efficiency of heterogeneous application scenarios' operations, such as for cybersecurity and device authentication. Also, the SecGrid system developed by CSG and the CyberSpec project operated between CSG and armasuisse were presented as uses cases as well as application scenarios for the techniques presented.

Additionally, Eryk Schiller presented the CSG paper on "IoT-based Access Management Supported by AI and Blockchains", co-authored by Elfat Esati and Burkhard Stiller, within Poster Session #3 on "Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence".
