The ITU in Geneva holds today, July 1, 2016, a Workshop on "Future Trust and Knowledge Infrastructure", Phase 2 with focus on trust and around 100 participants from industry and academia. First sessions adressed "Requirements and Priorities on Future Trust and Knowledge Infrastrucure and Services" and reviewed the major requirements and priorities on Future Trust and Knowledge Infrastructure and services considering the needs of diverse industry sectors. Dr. Corinna Schmitt was invited to give a presentation entitled "The Quest for Privay" with a special view on the Internet-of-Things (IoT) in this first session of the workshop. Due her experiences in privacy, security, and trust she was invited to join the final panel discussion on "Action Plans for Future ICT Infrastructure".
